ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- In celebration of Father's Day, The City of Albany and Air Force Reserve are hosting Dad Fest at the Washington Park Parade Grounds on June 18. The event is free, and features a classic car show presented by Park Albany, live music, and more! Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! Columbia County native to compete on 'Jeopardy!'

CHATHAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) --  Columbia County native Kristine Rembach is set to appear on "Jeopardy!" on June 7. You can check your local listings to watch Rembach compete at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! Rembach grew up in Valatie and Ghent and graduated from Chatham High School. She went to college in Boston and then went to law school in Washington D.C. She now lives in Germany. "Being on Jeopardy was a lifelong bucket list item after watching it every day with my family while growing up," said Rembach. "So happy it actually happened!" Albany woman places second on Jeopardy! Although the episode has already been taped, you'll have to tune in on Wednesday to see how Rembach fairs. Mayim Bialik will be hosting the episode.

NYSP: Wilton man fled on foot after head-on crash

WILTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Friday, a Wilton man was arrested for allegedly causing a head-on crash on Northern Pines Road. Police charged Glenn D. Clark IV, 28, with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Alcohol, Criminal Possession of Cannabis in the Third Degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration in the Second Degree, Resisting Arrest, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. The passengers in the other car sustained severe but non-life-threatening injuries. They were transported to the Albany Medical Center.Police located Clark IV around Brackett Lane. Three arrested in Schaghticoke following armed robbery

SCHAGHTICOKE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Three Troy men have been arrested after an armed robbery in Schaghticoke, according to police. Ernest Cannon, 29, Stephen Johnston, 30, and Robert Osullivan, 36, are each facing multiple charges. On June 4 at 9:24 a.m., troopers responded to a home on New Turnpike Road in Schaghticoke for the report of a burglary in progress. The police investigation determined that Cannon, Johnston and Osullivan forcibly entered the occupied house allegedly armed with firearms and stole money from the victim. All three men reportedly fled the residence before law enforcement arrived. No one was injured during the burglary. JOHNSTOWN, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Johnstown man has been arrested on kidnapping and attempted murder charges. New York State Police said Luis Gonzalez, 56, was arrested on June 3. Police found that Gonzalez allegedly held the victim against their will the previous morning, threatened them with multiple weapons, and stabbed them.Gonzalez had reportedly left the area, allowing the victim to get help. The victim was then brought to the hospital with severe injuries. Police found that the victim also had an active order of protection against Gonzalez. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - An Overland, Missouri, man is charged in connection with an October 2022 fatal hit-and-run accident in north St. Louis County.The accident occurred around 2:50 a.m. on Oct. 11, 2022, at the intersection of St. Charles Rock Road and Normandy Avenue.Police found the victim, Marquist Murray of Wellston, lying on the street after being struck by an SUV. Murray was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Murray was 38. Person dragged onto front lawn, killed during home invasion on Sunday morning The driver of the vehicle left the scene after striking Murray, police said.Following a months-long investigation, a St. Louis County grand jury indicted Cory Lawrence on May 30, 2023, on one count of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.Lawrence, 45, remains in custody on a $50,000 cash-only bond.

Rail service has once again been halted after land under the historic Casa Romantica in San Clemente continued to slide Monday morning.The slide occurred sometime between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m., San Clemente Mayor Chris Duncan told KTLA. There was significant movement on the slope and boulders and rocks remained on the tracks in the 10 a.m. hour, the mayor added.Train service has been interrupted as a result and tracks near the San Clemente Pier are closed.
